  For some vehicles, it’s easy to determine the appropriate service.

For others, a proper assessment is worthwhile — particularly when the vehicle needs more extensive interior cleaning, paint enhancement, scratch removal, or other specialized attention.

During an estimate, I’ll assess the vehicle’s condition, discuss what you’d like to accomplish, and explain what I recommend.

I’ll also tell you what doesn’t need to be done.

There is no obligation to proceed with the work.

Estimate Fee — $75

A vehicle estimate is $75.

This covers the time required to properly assess your vehicle and provide a detailed recommendation rather than simply giving you a price based on a few photographs or a description.

$50 of your estimate fee is returned when you book.

If you decide to proceed with the recommended service, $50 of the $75 estimate fee will be credited toward your appointment.

Your effective cost for the estimate is therefore $25 when you proceed with the recommended service.

The remaining $25 covers the time involved in assessing and discussing your vehicle, whether or not you ultimately choose to proceed.

Rather than asking you to choose a detailing package based on a checklist, I can assess your vehicle and recommend the service that makes the most sense for it.

You don’t need to know what your vehicle needs. That’s my job.

 An estimate isn’t an opportunity to sell you everything your vehicle could possibly have done.

It’s an opportunity to determine what your vehicle actually needs.

If a particular service won’t provide a meaningful benefit, I’ll tell you.

If something requires additional work beyond the service you’re considering, I’ll explain that too.

My goal is to recommend the right care for your vehicle — not the most expensive option.

 1. We discuss your vehicle

I’ll ask about the vehicle, how it’s used, what condition it’s currently in and what you’d like to accomplish.

2. I assess the vehicle

I’ll look at the areas that matter to the service you’re considering, including the condition of the interior, exterior, paint and any specific concerns you’ve identified.

3. I make a recommendation

I’ll explain what I believe your vehicle actually needs and why.

That may be a specific detailing service, a combination of services, or sometimes less than you expected.

4. You receive your estimate

You’ll know what I recommend, what it will cost, and what to expect before deciding whether you’d like to proceed.

 An estimate is particularly useful when:

• You’re unsure which service is appropriate
• Your vehicle requires more extensive cleaning or restoration
• You’re concerned about scratches, paint defects or other paint issues
• You’re considering paint enhancement or correction
• Your vehicle has significant staining, pet hair or other difficult interior conditions
• You have a specific concern you’d like me to assess
• You simply want to understand what your vehicle needs before booking

For straightforward services with clearly defined requirements, an estimate may not be necessary.
